    Rob Thomas will be performing at the Dow Live Earth Run For Water on April 18, 2010 in Atlanta, GA. The largest worldwide water initiative on record to help combat the global water crisis, the Dow Live Earth Run for Water is a series of 6km run/walks (the average distance many women and children walk every day to get water), culminating with water education villages and live musical performances. Funds raised from the event will benefit Global Water Challenge, a coalition of non profit organizations working to bring clean, safe drinking water to millions of people worldwide.

    Rob Thomas' song "Someday" has risen to the top of the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart! The song is Thomas' fourth leader on the list, following the first single from cradlesong, "Her Diamonds," which spent four weeks at No. 1 in August 2009. Rob Thomas previously held sway as a guest on Santana's "Smooth" (25 weeks, 1999-2000) and with his own "Lonely No More" (10 weeks, 2005).

    With his latest coronation, Thomas passes Pink for most Adult Pop Songs No. 1s among solo acts and equals the chart-topping output of his band, matchbox twenty.
