We drove 3 hrs from Texas to Lake Charles on Mar. 22nd ..This was our second time to have the pleasure in seeing y'all. Needless to say, you guys never disappoint!! I love the fact that you guys played a wide variety of songs that the fans always like to hear, even though you guys may sometimes get tired of playing them. Stay true to yourself and never surrender. Always remember why there's fans like us who would drive hours just to come see you play. For the love of the music and the lyrics that touch every single one of us in one way or another, and even though y'all were over an hour late; all of that frustration and impatience went away like it never happened the minute y'all came walking on stage. Fans shouldn't have to wait for the band, the band should have to wait for the fans... Thank you so much for continuing on and creating amazing music throughout all of these years for the people who love you most, because it's those who won't ever give up on you. I look forward to seeing y'all again with the goo goo dolls July 30th!! Keep the music alive "because we're all bent" as you said that night

I've loved Rob Thomas since his first Matchbox 20 album (Thanks to Mark & Brian). I'm listening to it tonight...after I've listened to Adele 21. Yeah, okay, I'm going to be 65 next month and these guys rock! Sorry, there are just some things you cannot undo in life...you either love rock/lyrics/soul or you don't ..and if you don't, I feel VERY VERY sorry for you! :). Life is short, grab onto the things that fulfill you, and have a hell of a ride. My sage advice for those following us--you've got to add to the future, in whatever way you can, and savor all that comes your way. It's all good when you do it that way. In the meantime, enjoy these wonderful artists that make our journey a whole lot easier. /lc

What an amazing entertainer! I would like to let Rob know that his song, Getting Late, inspired me to do something for my wonderful husband. Life has been difficult for him most of the time and busy all of the time, with a lot of things being put off for "some day." I just couldn't shake the message of the song. Because of that song, he will be checking off the top item on his bucket list this summer. Just thought Rob might like to know that he had a real impact on a stranger's life.
